Hi folks! I hope everyone is having fun with the new challenge. I'm really happy this round because the absolute majority of authors followed the rules this time. Just remember, folks, sending the fic in .DOC helps a good deal. Stay away from those nasty .DOCX that can't be read by people that don't have MS Word. I know it's difficult to remember to change the extension, but try just a little. Other than that, I'm really happy on how smoothly posting the fic was. Thank you very much.

I have one other bit to remind people and it's about votes. I had a few problems and thought that I should remind people what is a good vote concrit and what's not. When I say that you can state reasons, it's not a requirement in order to vote, but it's the most important reason that the writers are participating. When you do decide to give them concrit, make sure it's useful to improve any future work.

For example:

I loved all stories including this one, but it just wasn't as good as the others

This isn't useful to the author at all. You have to say why it wasn't as good in your opinion. It doesn't need to be any professional critic work. Just one simple justification to turn that.

A good concrit tells the author what you didn't like, and what you would have liked instead. This gives the writer a way of knowing how to improve in a way that pleases readers. The same goes for positive votes.

Again, it is not necessary to provide reasons and if in doubt just ask. I'm just trying to make this an enjoyful experience to the writers that are providing us with a continuous flow of good fics.
